Bell constructed several new building structures for Charleston Air Force Base in support of the new C-17 aircraft program. Bell, acting as General Contractor, completed the Modular Replacement Center an inspection, maintenance and repair facility for the C-17 engine , the C-17 Aircraft Maintenance Hangar, an environmental controlled facility for inspection and maintenance of the C-17 aircraft and two Squad Ops buildings consisting of administrative offices, flight plan briefing rooms and several Sensitive Compartment Information Facility (SCIF) rooms.
Over the 5 year period, Bell managed the four separate construction contracts construction which included self-performing the mechanical and plumbing systems on each building.
