Bell performed the mechanical, plumbing and process piping scope of work for the construction of an approximately 50,000 square foot Controlled Industrial Facility (CIF) located in Portsmouth, VA. The newly completed CIF supports maintenance and repair services for Navy vessels. The facility incorporates specialized systems, equipment, materials, and construction designed to contain, handle, and process liquid waste. It also includes a Controlled Area (with a high bay work area and smaller rooms), a two-story administrative Support Area, and an Enclosed Storage Area (ESA). The Controlled Areas are built of specialized concrete construction and contain stainless steel tanks, equipment, and systems for processing liquid waste.
Bell is the Mechanical and Plumbing Design-Assist Subcontractor for the Crystal Springs Tower project at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. The project consists of multiple phases of work to enable the tower construction.
Friday afternoon the 16th of June, members of the Bell Family, current and past employees, and other guests who hold a long-standing relationship with the Company gathered to honor The Bell Company's founder at the annual John P. Bell Day picnic.
