Employees and family members of The Bell Company’s Richmond, VA office came out to support the Free to Breathe organization by participating and volunteering at the 5th Annual Lung Cancer 5K Run / Walk event on April 25th, 2015. The Bell Company team completed the 5K event, distributed bottled water for race participants and supporters, and also made a monetary donation directly to Free to Breathe. We would like to thank the Bell team and members of the Richmond community who helped raise money and awareness for this deserving cause.
Free to Breathe is partnership of lung cancer survivors, advocates, researchers, healthcare professionals and industry leaders who are united in the belief that every person with lung cancer deserves a cure. Their focus is on funding research, increasing the number of lung cancer patients participating in clinical trials, and empowering the lung cancer community. One of the organization’s goals is to double lung cancer survival by 2022. Fundraising for the Richmond event will remain open through June 9, 2015.
